    The Milan Fashion Week has been hosting some of the fashion industry’s biggest names – Gucci, Versace, Fendi, Prada, Hugo Boss and Ferragamo – for decades. Moreover, with Sabato De Sarno’s first collection for Gucci marking the biggest debut of the season, the excitement for the Milan Fashion Week 2024 was at an all-time high.

    On September 22, De Sarno showcased his first-ever collection for the prestigious Italian fashion house, bringing back the original minimalistic Gucci essence. Similarly, Bally’s creative director Simone Belloti also showcased her inaugural collection that screamed timeless silhouettes. Not to be outdone, Versace hosted a co-ed show with Donatella Versace, curating stylish offerings for the next summer season featuring signature baroque and Medusa prints, sequins and patterned accessories.

    At New York Fashion Week, Next Gen Menswear Takes Center Stage at New York Men’s Day

    Before the collections kick-off in the afternoon of the first Friday after Labor Day— New York Fashion Week—there’s New York Men’s Day offering a no fuss start to a week packed with, well, a lot of muss. 

    This time the seasonal menswear showcase, which is put together by Agentry PR, was once again hosted across two floors—that otherwise serve as separate photographic studios—of an industrial building in Hudson Yards. There were ten designers in the lineup, covering menswear, genderless, and a touch of womenswear. These brands were all relatively indie, with a distinct take on what constitutes “menswear,” and ranged from new (as in launched last year) to established (operating for nearly a decade).

    I Put Men’s Ballet Flats to the Test During Fashion Week

    You can almost always hear me coming from just about any direction—mostly because I’m clomping my way through life in extra-chunky shoes. There’s something about a sturdy shoe that instantly grounds a look, and makes every and any proportion feel right. I wear my lug sole Gucci loafers, which weigh a ton, more than my sneakers—because they simply always complete my outfit.     Tough Times for Men’s Wear? Designers Find a Workaround

    You’ve maxed out your credit cards, asked your family for loans, begged vendors for favors, cajoled friends into sacrificing salaries to model for a day, and then suddenly it is New York Fashion Week and, with it, New York Men’s Day, the only chance some men’s wear designers will have to be seen.

    Then, on the morning of your show, the impossible happens.

    Without prior warning, the city sends in crews to jackhammer up the sidewalk outside the loft building where you’ve been allotted two hours, total, to give fashion your best — and possibly your only — shot.

    “What else could we do?” said Erin Hawker, the indefatigable publicist who first envisioned New York Men’s Day a decade ago. “We staged a peaceful protest on the sidewalk.”

    5 Big Menswear Trends From New York Fashion Week SS24

    New York Fashion Week’s Spring/Summer 2024 shows have officially concluded, and globe-trotting glitterati are already taking their seats in London for the English fashion capital’s next-season debuts. With shows from over 70 designers, spanning stalwarts Michael Kors, Collina Strada, Coach, Gabriela Hearst and Jason Wu to newer names like Advisry, Sho Konishi, Chan Chit Lo and Grace Ling, New York’s tailored-and-tucked week had much to say about the future of fashion trends.

    This season, New York designers were eager to rewrite the codes.     Men’s clothing donations needed at the Highland Center | News

    SHREVEPORT, La. – Men’s clothing can be hard to find when facing homelessness or financial problems. That is why the Highland Center has free closets for men, women and children.

    While donations flow in for women and children, the men’s closet is currently facing a severe shortage.

    Simple items like socks, belts and jeans go a long way helping people while they’re living on the streets, or to dress professionally for a job interview.

    Men are offered three outfits: three pairs of pants, shirts, socks and undergarments.

    The men’s closet needs more than suit jackets and khakis– they need everything from plain T-shirts to blue jeans.

    Pants ranging from sizes 32, 36 and 38 and shoes sizes 9 to 13 are needed the most. There are no shoes, ties, belts or basic accessories that are needed for men to go to a job interview.
